Ferg Spain is an award-winning real estate agent with more than a decade of experience across Selwyn and Christchurch. Since beginning his career at Harcourts Rolleston in 2012, his straightforward approach and proven results have established him as a trusted name in the local property market. Today, he is one half of the father-and-son real estate duo, Team Spain.

Raised on a Southland sheep, beef and deer farm with a piggery attached, Ferg developed a strong connection to the land and learned the value of hard work from an early age. These beginnings shaped the grounded, dependable way he approaches both business and real estate

Before entering the property industry, Ferg built a successful career in the equestrian sector. He opened his first saddlery at just 18 and went on to own and operate several retail stores, developing valuable experience in business, customer service and communication.

Now living with his family on a four-hectare property in the West Melton–Rolleston area, Ferg offers genuine local knowledge and first-hand insight into lifestyle living. His expertise spans residential homes, lifestyle blocks, rural properties, sections and new builds.

Tait Spain

Having grown up in the beautiful Selwyn area, Leading West Melton primary school as head boy before spending teenage winters enjoying the weekends playing local rugby, Tait has found a deep connection to the local community.

Unbeknown to Tait a career in Real Estate was waiting for him. Spending his early days in the Harcourts office, surrounded by the hustle and bustle, absorbing knowledge from seasoned professionals has given him the perfect head start.

After completing his studies at St Bede's College and Massey University, developing strong values of integrity, dedication, and teamwork, The green light was received from his father, Ferg, that was time to embrace his calling where you will see these values at the core of his professional approach today.
